Peace Home School of Health Assistant over the weekend held its 15st graduation exercise at the Redeemed Church of God, Neezoe Junction, Paynesville, outside Monrovia.

Speaking at the graduation program, the Chair of the Public Health Department at Catvler Christian University, Abel Jornkatonol, challenged the graduates to be determined to pursue their education at the advance level.

Jornkatonol stated that graduation as a nurse assistant is just the beginning of embracing the health sector in Liberia. According to him, nurse assistant plays crucial role in the health delivery system.

He warned against going beyond their limit when working with patients, but always consulting their supervisors in the health facilities.

Jornkatonol underscored that effective communication among the nurse assistants is critical for the smooth operation of the health system.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Peace Home School of Health Assistant, Dr. Joseph T. K. Boakai, said the parents should be willing to help their children to pursue advanced study in the medical profession.

Dr. Boakai stated that candidates of this 15th graduation have great potential to excel in the health sector.

He pointed out that if they are given the opportunity to get further studies in the medical field, it will go a long way to build a resilient health system in Liberia.

He then warned graduates against drug padding in the streets, instead cautioning them to remain focused to obtain professional studies in the medical field.
