His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia, has expressed profound sadness and deep sorrow following a Tanzanian commercial flight operated by Precision Air that crash-landed in bad weather in Lake Victoria on Sunday, killing 19 persons.
In his message to his Tanzanian counterpart, Samia Suluhu Hassan, President Weah extended heartfelt condolences to the government and people of the United Republic of Tanzania, especially the bereaved families, for the irreparable losses sustained, on behalf of the government and people of Liberia and in his own name.
He then prayed that the Almighty God will grant Hassan and the people of Tanzania courage and fortitude as they go through this period of national mourning.
