According to the LNP spokesperson, the joint security apparatus has also re-arrested seven prisoners out of the ninety-one inmates that escaped as a result of the vandalization of the prison compound in Maryland County. He pointed out that the police is making all efforts to have all the prisoners who escaped the cell rearrested. He explained that calmed has been restored, and security officers are still in complete control of the place.
Recently, the people in Pleebo and Harper cities assembled took to the street of Maryland in violence for a couple of days, which was occasioned by the discovery of the lifeless body of a student of the Pleebo High School, Mordecial Nyemah. The people claimed that they had good intent to bring a resounding attention to their local authorities and national government, but the intent was undermined by violence and destruction by a few miscreants and dangerous elements within their midst.
House Speaker, Bhofal Chambers, recently urged individuals bent on perpetrating violence to desist. “In this vein, we have come to categorically condemn this sub-human practice, for it has no place in the standing of our today’s Maryland. We therefore want to assure you of our commitment to support the government to investigate, prosecute and apply the law in its fullness to deter future occurrence,” Speaker Chambers said.
The House Speaker continued, “About the unprovoked arson attack on my premises in Pleebo City, Pleebo-Sodoken District, and the vandalizing and destruction of government’s properties, as well as impeding normal business activities and the movement of peaceful citizens, we believe strongly that same do not represent the majority of our people and the patriotic citizens of our community, Pleebo-Sodoken District, and all of Maryland.
“May we, as a people and government, put the acts of vandalizing and destruction of properties in the cities of Pleebo and Harper, including the destruction of my residence, secondary to the prosecution of those involved in the murder of student Nyemah.”
