‎‎Nimba County’s district #4 Representative, Ernest Manseah, has commenced the construction of three modern bridges in district #4, Nimba County, worth over US$100,000, connecting Gbor-Gbanwain and Gbor-Payee and other communities across the district.

‎   ‎The project is expected to significantly improve transportation, ease movement, and boost economic activities in the Gbor region and surrounding communities.

‎   Speaking during the commencement of the construction recently in Nimba County, Representative Manseah said the construction of the bridges is very important, noting that it will bring long-awaited relief to the people and contribute to the county’s economic growth.

‎   ‎According to him, residents of district #4, especially those in the Gbor region, have been calling for the construction of the bridge since 1980; therefore, he is urging citizens of both Gbor-Gbanwain and Gbor-Payee to work alongside engineers and take ownership of their development.

‎   ‎Representative Manseah further assured residents that all development initiatives carried out in the Tuah River belt will also be extended to the Gbor region. He also disclosed that following the elections, eight scholarships were awarded for students to study abroad, distributed equally across the chiefdoms.

‎   ‎Highlighting other on-going developments, Representative Manseah revealed that he recently constructed two additional bridges in the Beo region: those connecting Beo-Ganaglay and Beo-Yoorlar, and Beo-Bongarplay and Beo-Gbenleley.

‎   ‎He also named several projects nearing completion since he took office nearly three years ago, including schools, town halls, a police station, and a guest house. He reaffirmed his commitment to doing more as long as the people of the district continue to work together collectively.

‎   ‎From all indications, the district has responded positively to the developments. Speaking on behalf of the community, the Commissioner of the Gbor region, Ernest Doitoe, praised Representative Manseah for the numerous initiatives underway. He noted that since 1980 successive officials have promised to construct the bridge but failed to deliver.

‎The commissioner then offered blessings and appreciation to Representative Manseah, honoring him publicly for the on-going infrastructure development across district #4.
