With six months and the half left for the holding of general and presidential elections, a representative aspirant of electoral district #10, Montserrado County, Isaac Clay, is calling on residents to denounce voter trucking in the district.

Aspirants across a number of districts in Liberia are noted for usually trucking voters from one point to the other for political gain.

Already a huge number of voters have been trucked by some politicians to register in their districts for their victory come October 10, 2023 general and presidential elections.

According to aspirant Isaac Clay, district #10, Montserrado County, this conduct on the part of both voters and the politicians has not helped Liberia in any way as a country.

He said most of the problems Liberia suffers from come from the Legislature because voters are trucked for money. “What do you expect from someone who has already paid you and is looking for his/her money, already spent, to replace what has been lost?” he wondered.

Aspirant Clay noted, “It is good to stay in your district and know who are the ones vying for the representative seat, indicating that Liberia deserves the best at the level of the National Legislature. At the same time, the electoral district #10 aspirant said he wants citizens of the district to participate in the on-going voter registration process in the district.

“Stay and be registered. It matters most for our tomorrow generation. Six years is not a joke. Please don’t  be encouraged by some politicians to be trucked out of the district for little of nothing, and your future is left like that. Let’s participate in the registration process in the district. Say no to trucking by any politicians,” the aspirant said to the people of the district.
