The Chief Executive Officer of Bravo 91, a business consortium located in electoral district #13, Montserrado County, Solomon Cheapoo Sr., has again received a certificate of appreciation for identifying with the plight of the ordinary citizens of the district.

The latest certificate was presented to Cheapoo by the leadership of Topoe Community for his outstanding role in the reopening of the community’s football field and recreational center.

The field, located in block “D”, was shut down five years ago due to dispute between the community and the owner of the property.

Following months of negotiation, spearheaded by Cheapo, the property was once returned to the community for use as a football field and other community-oriented events through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Deddeh Pusa, the Grantor, and the community, represented by its leadership.

The MOU entered into on June 8, 2021 will last up to June 7, 2023, at which time the property will be returned to the owner.

In appreciation of the effort, the community, through its leadership, on Sunday July 25 presented a certificate to Cheapo at a ceremony in Topoe community.

Making a formal presentation in front of a crowd of community dwellers including the youth, women group and elders of Topoe community, community Chairman, Mathew Dee, said Solomon Cheapo’s effort in resecuring the playing ground manifests his readiness to stand by the community.

The Chairman expressed the hope that the certificate will serve as a lasting memento of his generosity, kindness and humanitarian effort in all the communities across district thirteenth.

Solomon Cheapoo received similar certificates of appreciation in the past from prominent civil society groups, women organizations in the district, students and youth groups for his role in helping mankind and restoring the less fortunate in society.
