LIS Arrests Ivorian National Who Allegedly Killed His Wife

Officers of the Border Patrol Unit (BPU) of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) on October 19, 2022 arrested a thirty-five-year-old man, Eric Bio, at Balawaley border, Nimba County.

   According to the Spokesman of the LIS, Colonel Abraham Dolley, Bio has been on the run in neighboring Ivory Coast after allegedly killing his wife, but was arrested by officers of the LIS during their normal patrol duty at that side of the border.

   Currently, Bio is at the custody of the LIS in Nimba County undergoing interrogation into his presence in Liberia.

   At the same time, the LIS spokesperson has informed the Hot Pepper that two Nigerians, Onyeani Chijioke Paul and Nnaji Stephen Onukwube, have been arrested with expired passports.
