The Liberian Youth initiative (LYI) has selected the Director General of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP), Dewitt vonBallmoos, as its Director General of Year 2020/2021, in recognition of his impact on society and his tireless effort in reforming the entity.
VonBallmoos, according to LYI, was given the special recognition because of his honest contribution to national development.
Presenting the certificate to the honoree, the President of LYI, Gabriel Wisner, said, “VonBallmoos goes beyond borders, irrespective of your stand in society, to bring the needed progress to NASSCORP.”
Receiving the certificate, vonBallmoos commended the youth group for the honor and promised to continue building the capacity of the youth in order to improve their lives.
VonBallmoos added that the honor has proved that things that they have done for the society have not gone unnoticed, and promised to do more.
