The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Liberian Youth Foundation, Abdurahman I.A. Fofana, has commended the Government of Liberia (GOL) for the passage of the new anti-drug law.
The revised drug law makes drug trafficking a non-billable offense. The new law, according to Fofana, will help reduce illegal substance users and the inflow of illicit substances in Liberia.
Fofana noted that the passage of the new law is a major boost for the future generation of Liberia, noting that thousands of youths have been affected by the use of narcotics.
He called on every citizen to support the Government of Liberia (GOL) in the fight against illicit drug, with more support to the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA).
