As the October 10, 2023 presidential and legislative elections draw closer, Nimba County’s district #5 Representative-Aspirant, Peter Weato, has given three motorbikes to President George M. Weah’s re-election team there in order for them to carry out their operation smoothly.

“Our Chairman for Nimba for Weah, Paul Zorkor, in order for you to be on your feet so that the President can be re-elected in this district, you getting one motorbike today, too,” Aspirant Weato said.  “We are not here to go and strain the President for financial purpose.”

Aspirant Weato, who is the Founder, President and CEO of the Zoe Geh Medical Center in Buuya, and also head of the Weato Memorial Health Center in Bayleglay, Twah River, district #4, told citizens of district #5 during his presentation of the three bikes to President Weah’s re-election team to retain President Weah by voting him so that he can continue his on-going development agenda.

“Government is continuity. He would just stopped and say, ‘I don’t want to carry on anything’, but has continued the development drive of the country,” aspirant Weato stated. “Look at the road connectivity from Ganta to Loguatou. Look at Maa-Diaplay road connectivity, which is to the bridge. We are appealing to the President that these bridges should be built.”

According to him, his team, “Team Weato”, in collaboration with “Nimba for Weah” has been undertaking development initiatives in districts #4 and #3 in the county, noting that the President has put Nimba County first.

“He has been independently pushing the President’s re-election bid, without getting extended assistance,” he said.

“We never called upon anybody to say get dollars and assemble her. I who standing here, Peter Weato, used two of my cars on behalf of the President because he is doing great things for us, and I cannot be ungrateful to him,” he noted.

For the President to be re-elected, he presented three motorbikes: one to “Nimba for Weah’s” Coordinator; another to Radio BKS, which he said is not driven by any politician to say rubbish about the President’s second-term bid; and another to the Chairman of Nimba for Weah, Paul Zorkor.

He vowed to host an official program, during which he said the CDC auxiliary will honor Jefferson Kojee and the President, observing that he remains unbending for the President’s second term victory. He also pledged to start free surgeries at his two health facilities very soon on behalf of President George M. Weah.
