The Liberia Institute of Statistics and Geo-Information Services (LISGIS) has announced the official closure of the enumeration segment of the 2022 National Housing and Population census.
According to a release, the 2022 NPHC instituted several data quality monitoring mechanisms and leveraged technology to implement interventions toward ensuring complete and accurate census process.
However, the Management of LISGIS is urging the public to remain supportive while modalities are being worked out to address all outstanding matters.
Meanwhile, LISGIS has disclosed it will begin releasing provisional census results beginning January 25, 2023.
LISGIS is also commending the public for its cooperation in allowing Census enumerators access their homes and responding to the questions.
