The city of Monrovia, and Paynesville came alive on Sunday, November 24, 2024, with the spirit of determination, unity, and triumph as thousands of runners took to the streets for Marathon, an event proudly sponsored by Orange Money Liberia. This year’s Marathon was held under the theme, “Further Together; the race continues”. It was a demonstration of resilience, shared goals, and the power of community.

As runners from all walks of life crossed the finish line, Orange Money stood proud to be part of this historic race once again. Supporting dreams and empowering individuals being at the heart of its mission, this incredible event served as a perfect example of what Liberia can achieve when all come together.

Speaking at the occasion, Mabel Mason, Communication Manager of Orange Liberia, said, “This marathon wasn’t just about speed or distance; it was about heart, purpose, and making every stride count.” She went further by saying, “We’re proud to have supported these remarkable participants and to have shared this unforgettable moment with the community.”

Orange Money’s sponsorship of Marathon 2024 highlights its commitment to being more than a financial service provider. “Whether through convenient mobile money solutions or by empowering communities, we strive to be there for every step of the journey—today, tomorrow, and beyond,” an Orange Money press release observed.

“To every runner, volunteer, and supporter who contributed to the success of this event: Thank you for embodying the spirit of perseverance and unity that inspires us all. With Orange Money, every stride counts, every dream matters, and every achievement is worth celebrating,” the release noted.

Grand performances by Orange Liberia and Orange Money Liberia brand ambassadors, Darius Kumorteh (Teddyride) and Kelvin Dennis (King Dennis) climaxed the event.
