Amos and Sons Petitioned For District #13 Representative Seat
Thousands of sympathizers and well-wishers of Amos K. Ndawuyah, alias Amos and Sons, have petitioned the politician to contest as a candidate for Montserrado County’s district #13 representative seat in the 2023 general and presidential election.
On Saturday, July 2, 2022 residents of Iron Factory turned out in their numbers to petition Ndawuyah, owner of Amos and Sons, a business located at New Georgia’s intersection, Japan Freeway, Gardnersville.
In their petition statement, read by Charles McCarthy, the petitioners said, after months of consultation with fellow residents of the community, including Christians, Muslims, youths, women, elders, as well as leaders, they have come together to officially declare their support for Amos and Son.
According to McCarthy, district #13 has always relied on him for solutions when it comes to the problem of vulnerable and abandoned children, among others. “We relied on you for financial revival,” he added.
He vowed that they will rigorously campaign for him and, from their bottom of their heart, vote for him in the up-coming 2023 election.
Responding, the honoree, Amos K. Ndawuyah, said, “If you are somewhere and the masses eye you for a certain task, that means you are already there.” He overwhelmingly congratulated all his supporters, noting that their action is the beginning of a major transition in district #13.
Generally speaking to the residents of the District, aspirant Ndawuyah said the petitioners have convinced him to run and, therefore, promised not to disappoint them. He promised to represent them accordingly, in line with his responsibility as a representative.
He then promised to assist the district toward education and other important projects.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Team Amos, an auxiliary group established to promote aspirant Amos K. Ndawuyah, said, “We know what you have done; so the district has come to petition you.
With reference to the incumbent representative of the district, Chairman William Mason said he always cater to Battery Factory, apparently because that is where he resides.
The program was characterized by musical performances by Jelvis Jackson, Shine Curry and others, who entertained the crowd with their life-praising songs for Amos, like the way they did for President George M. Weah.
